The EvClean15 provides clean, affordable, electric transportation options to residents of Los Angeles, Council District 15. This project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality, and enhance community wellness.
In addition, we set out to hear from residents of Watts, Wilmington, Harbor Gateway, San Pedro, neighboring, and or surrounding areas to tell us how to improve LA community transportation and to introduce the EvClean15 community transit.
Survey participant winners of the June E-bike and E-scooter giveaways will be announced July 4th, 2025, on Instagram. Over 1000 LA Residents shared their thoughts, we heard you. If you'd like to share your thoughts on LA community transportation, take the survey today.

The Niles Foundation is proud to partner with Aclima, the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and the Statewide Mobile Monitoring Initiative (SMMI) to bring hyperlocal air quality monitoring to communities across California. Through this groundbreaking initiative, mobile sensor-equipped vehicles collect real-time data on pollutants, toxic air contaminants, and greenhouse gases—especially in historically underserved neighborhoods like Gardena, Alondra Park, and Lawndale.
As a community partner, The Niles Foundation has hosted educational events and outreach efforts to ensure residents are informed, engaged, and empowered to take action for cleaner air. This collaboration not only supports environmental justice but also helps shape local Community Air Monitoring Plans (CAMPs), ensuring that community voices are central to California’s clean air future.
